Tervetuloa Suomen Radiohistoriallisen Seuran sivuille! SRHS kerää, tutkii ja tallentaa. Radiohistoriallista esineistöä ja tietoa yksittäisistä komponenteista laitekokonaisuuksiin, lehtien irtonumeroista kirjoihin ja ohjelmanauhoitteista henkilöhaastatteluihin, siis kaikkea sellaista, mikä kuuluu radion satavuotiseen historiaan. Keräilijöitä ja museoita sekä julkaisee tutkimustuloksia ja jäsenlehteä sekä ylläpitää kattavaa tietokantaa.
Petäjäveden radio- ja puhelinmuseota ylläpitää vuonna 1995 perustettu Petäjäveden Vanhojen Viestilaitteiden Museon Tukiyhdistys ry. Museon kokoelma ja hallinto täyttävät museoviraston kriteerit ja siten museo on saanut toistuvasti valtion harkinnanvaraista avustusta toimintansa kehittämiseen. Museon kokoelmat ovat esillä Petäjäveden entisessä vanhainkodissa. Valtaosa näyttelystä on 1916 rakennetun kiinteistön ullakkotilassa, josta on näyttelykäyttöön kunnos.

Saturday, August 25, 2007. The older I get the more fondly I think of old television shows. Not that they were all that good - most of them were pretty bad! But I like to watch them anyway! Wikipedia, that marvelous mishmash of information, claims that the Golden Age of Television. Not all of the programs back then were original. Many of the old television shows were imported directly from the radio. Cast, writers, concept and all. They arrived on TV fully developed and already popular.
